Non-Profit Wrench is more than vehicle repair. We're a community-service nonprofit helping people overcome practical barriers to stability and independence. Reliable transportation can mean getting to work, making a medical appointment, getting children to school, or simply being able to participate in everyday life. Our work also extends to handy services and other practical assistance for people facing difficult circumstances.
Come dressed for a night out, bring your friends, enjoy dinner and entertainment, bid on something fun, and help us continue building a stronger community.

Live Life. Do Good.Non-Profit Wrench, Gala of Hope
Non-Profit Wrench isn’t just a repair shop — it’s a lifeline woven into the fabric of Rochester.
When a car won’t start, when stairs become impossible to manage, or when yard work piles up beyond someone’s strength or budget, those small failures cascade into lost jobs, missed medical care, social isolation, and fractured dignity.
We step in where systems and services often leave people stranded. Every service we provide — whether it’s an affordable brake job, a patiently repaired alternator, a ramp built on a shoestring, or a lawn cleared for a senior who can’t do it anymore — preserves a person’s ability to move, to work, to attend appointments, to care for children, and to remain connected to community.
That mobility is not merely transportation; it is independence, income, health, and self-respect. For many clients, a single repair prevents a downward spiral and keeps a household stable.
Non-Profit Wrench is an independently owned, individual-driven nonprofit — not state-run, not funded by any governmental agency. It exists because one person’s passion and persistence refuse to accept that mobility and dignity should depend on wealth or bureaucracy. That passion is vital, but it doesn’t stand alone.
Community is the engine that powers this work. Neighbors, local businesses, volunteers, donors, and civic groups contribute time, parts, tools, and funds that turn compassion into tangible help. Each donation, each volunteer hour, each shared skill multiplies the impact of this solo-led effort and ensures more people can stay safe and independent in their homes and neighborhoods.
Supporting Non-Profit Wrench is a way for the community to say: you are not alone. Your neighbors will help you keep moving. Together we preserve dignity, restore independence, and build a Rochester where nobody is sidelined by immobility. Every gift matters. Every volunteer matters. Every repair keeps our community connected.
